It takes a village. To raise a child, to create a home, to build a community. No single person, nor program, can solve all society’s problems. Part of supporting Habitat’s mission is to fight for affordable housing on all fronts. Donations and volunteering are crucial to the work, but you can also help through advocacy.
As part of the Cost of Home initiative by Habitat for Humanity International, NOAHH has resources and information you can use to become an advocate for housing. Use your voice to let your representatives at the local, state, and federal level know that affordable housing must be a priority.
