My name is Kenneth Hagans. I have three children and ten grandchildren. I was raised in the St. Thomas Projects. We lived there for thirty-six years. A goal of mine was to always own my own home. I will be the second sibling in my immediate family to do that! With the help of God and Habitat, my prayer has come true.
My next step is to go back to college and get a degree in accounting, soon as I finish. I promised my parents that I would. They didn’t believe me when I said I would be building a house, but now they are so proud of me. My mom tells me she loves what I am doing, and she’s very proud to have a son like me. The next step is to finish college and get that degree!
