My name is Audry Allen. I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and I have two handsome sons. My youngest is 3yrs old and my oldest is 8yrs old. I thank God and Habitat for blessing me with the opportunity to own my own home. This will allow my sons to have their own space and a place to call our own. Volunteering with Habitat has been a learning process for me as well as for my family member when it comes to actually building a house. I have come across so many wonderful people going through the same process as me and people that came from other states just to lend a helping hand. I have always dreamed of becoming a home owner, in order to make a better life for myself and my children. I appreciate the opportunity that Habitat for Humanity has given my family in my hometown! It is an honor and a blessing to help contribute to the rebuilding of a community.
