About Projects
Fall 2007 and Spring/Summer Groups:  Construction of new Habitat homes.  Tuesday-Saturday, 7:45am-3:15pm.  This project includes these sites: Musicians' Village, Westbank, St. Bernard Parish and others.  When you sign up for one of these, you will be manually assigned to a construction site and receive your placement one week prior to your work date.  The needs of our construction sites vary so we place volunteers where they are most needed.  If you are scheduling yourself less than 2 weeks prior to your work date, please contact us personally for a confirmation.
Community Projects (Non-Construction) (previously titled Parish Recovery Effort): Community Service Projects with organizations in the area.  Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:45pm.  This project includes involvement within the St. Bernard Parish community, including (but not limited to): Rehabilitation of homes and buildings, phone bank project, cleaning parks, art projects and reading programs in the schools, working with the food bank, etc.  The project that you will be involved with may not be determined until shortly before your work date or on the morning of your work date.  We send volunteers where they are most needed.  All volunteers will meet at the front Desk of our Camp Hope (1201 Bayou Road, St. Bernard) and will be assigned from there.  
ReStore Assistance (Non-Construction): Habitat ReStore is a home furnishing store that provides our homeowners and the community with affordable furniture and home supplies.  Wednesday-Saturday, 9:00am-5:00pm (however, please arrive at 9:30am).

Holidays
Habitat for Humanity encourages their staff to spend the holidays with their families.  Our construction sites will be closed for the following dates.

Once you have clicked on a particular box, you will be prompted to "Sign Up."  Once you have signed up, you will receive a confirmation that you are registered for that date.  Two weeks prior to your work date, you will receive a construction site assignment.

Please log in with your registered information and select "view my scheduled dates" to review dates you have signed up for as well as to edit any of those dates.
