Rasgado Family

My name is Noemi Rasgado, I’m 42 years old and right now I live in Metairie, LA. I was born in Mexico in the beautiful state of Oaxaca. I have three children: Gamaliel, he lives in Mexico; Valeria, and Alejandra, my little princess that’s 6 years old and is in first grade at Marie River.
Alejandra is very hardworking, obedient and loving little girl. She loves animals. I have never heard a complaint of her having bad behavior. On the contrary, they congratulate me because she is such a sweet girl. When she grows up, she wants to be a chef. She loves to ride her bike in the park. I love to spend time with her playing. Seeing her face light up with happiness is my greatest pleasure.

I’ve worked at the Renaissance Arts Hotel since March of 2011 in the housekeeping department. I’m very thankful to have a stable job and the opportunity to become a homeowner. It’s a dream come true. It’s a dream for many of us, but for me it’s going to come true through the organization Habitat for Humanity, a program that helps people without many resources, but with high motivation to improve their lives.

I’m very thankful the program Habitat for Humanity and always will be. And I will always be grateful to all of the people with big hearts who volunteer to make this dream of ours come true. Without them it wouldn’t be possible. May god fill their lives with blessings and continue filling their hearts with love and good will.

May god bless them all.
