My name is Jamie Jackson; I have two handsome boys, Joseph-7 and Bryan-5. Now thanks to Habitat for Humanity my sons will grow up in the same neighborhood that my grandfather raised his family & my mom raised me. As a parent, having somewhere for my boys to call home, a yard to play in, and a solid neighborhood to be raised in, makes all the hard work and patience worth it. The Habitat for Humanity organization has helped me to help myself by giving me the tools (literally) I’ll need to become a successful homeowner. Going through this experience I was afraid of homeownership, but after meeting and speaking with the wonderful staff, my view has changed. It feels good going home…
