My name is Julie Hicks. I’m a mother of three, and the grandmother of four grandsons. I was born and raised in Grand Prairie, LA and have lived in New Orleans for forty years plus. I’m a faithful member of Greater Galilee Baptist Church. I first learned about New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity from a co-worker. I am honored to be a candidate to owning my own home which is a dream that’s coming true for myself and my family.
