Volunteer
New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization. We offer numerous ways that people can get involved from home building to sponsorships, advocating to donating. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with families in need. We invite volunteers to help us build, assist in the office, work in the ReStore, serve on committees, and help with special projects that benefit the organization. There is always a place for you to bring your unique talents and skills. Experience is not necessary to volunteer with us. Our staff and volunteer leaders will provide you with all the training needed. Our partner families work alongside many of our volunteers while they are earning sweat equity, so it’s a great way to meet future Habitat homeowners.

VOLUNTEER DONATION
We appreciate the time and energy you give to volunteer with us. We depend on the generosity of our donors and volunteers to help us keep our services to the community affordable. In light of the economic challenges facing all non-profits, and the increased number of clients who desperately need our services, we are asking our volunteers to make a one-time tax deductible gift to help us cover the costs of registration, insurance, administration and materials. By offering financial support you ensure that all of NOAHHs projects have expert instructors, and are safe and productive for all volunteers. Your generous cooperation ensures that the funds we raise can be spent on the most important people...our families.
